I’m really excited to design a Summer 2013 dress collection with the lovely ladies over at Nooworks. They run a shop in the Mission that sells some of my favorite dresses, and they developed a great reputation for working with local artists to create originaltextiles.
The jungle cat and naked lady patterns I designed were made into numerous colorful dress designs (check out the jungle cat one on Modcloth), leggings, t-shirt designs, and even pillows! For opening night I painted a mural and we did animated projections.

In collaboration with Noise Pop Culture Club and Isotope Comics I covered Yo La Tengo, Kid Koala, Nobunny and The Ferocious Few in comic book reviews.
In 2012 I returned with SPIN magazine and covered The Fresh and Onlys and Disappears performing at the Bottom of the Hill.
Fox Head Stew
Fox Head Stew mixes glam rock, psychedelic powers, and self-discovery through art classes, guitar lust, booze, and one-night-stands. Sam finds escape from his depression by playing music, while Dee tries to hide her strange inner-self through college parties, drinking, and getting lost in private, hallucinatory flights-of-fancy. Float along as Dee’s daily life gets distorted with lucid fantasies, strange creatures, vivid music and gorgeous daydreams in Jamaica Dyer’s original take on the quarter-life crisis.

Monster Girls started as a project at work to get everyone to take a break from game design and draw something different. We started drawing monsters, all on the Cintique in a limited amount of time. These are some of my favorite results.
